A recent study of nearly a half million older men and women (50-64 y.o.a.) found that those who enjoyed a diet rich in calcium were less likely to develop cancers. Adults who consumed the most calcium also tended to be healthier. The study suggests drinking at least 4 cups of milk or calcium-fortified orange juice per day. Skip the calcium supplements though, they’re not as effective as the real thing. So, milk really does a body good!
