Jason Aldean is set to head out again this fall as a headlining act. And once again, Luke Bryan is set to be his touring partner.
In the spring, the two teamed up on tour and during a stop in Boise State in Idaho, the two played a game of flag football.
“He was, ‘I’m the quarterback for my team,’ like he’s Dan Marino,” Jason tells Country Weekly, and laughs.
“The first pass he threw in the game, I intercepted it and ran back 40 yards for a touchdown. He came up with this lame hamstring injury about three plays later.”
Jason’s Wide Open tour—with a recovering Luke Bryan as opener on most dates—starts back up Sept. 10.
Will Jason make another stop in St. Louis? We will have to wait and see.
