Local soldier gave all…Protesters are coming!

My friend Butch over at the VFW in Troy told me that all bikes are welcome to honor this soldier and family for their sacrifice for our freedom.

He told me of an organized group of protestors that are coming in from a church in Kansas that screams offensive things to the mourners…displaying signs with horrific, vile, hurtful words. If that’s how they want to use the “free speech” ammendment…so be it.

These people will try and get in view of the family that is grieving like no family should.

18 wheelers, combines, septic trucks, fire truck, buses…any large vehicle can be used to shield the family…Just like in Extreme Home Makeover…you’ll be hearing “MOVE THAT BUS” right in front of those protestors.

TO BE INVOLVED: Show up Saturday morning by 8am and park behind the funeral home…look for leather vests…they’ll help you the rest of the way. The hard details of locations and times are below in a posting I found on a blog. The protestors have permits and legally can be there…we’re just trying to protect the family.

Any questions call Butch at 618-520-5212.
