Nashville Is Amazing!

The morning crew arrived safely in Nashville and has it been fun! Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? The rabbit goes flying off making fun of the slow moving turtle, but in the end, ‘slow and steady wins the prize.’

Well on the way here, everyone gave me grief about driving the speed limit. While the other three cars were breaking the law and passing us by, even those in my own car (Annie, Brian and Donna) ridiculed my driving. What happened? All the speeders had to stop for gas and we arrived first! I had the last laugh.

We went to a private party early Tuesday evening and spent some time with Gretchen Wilson! The Pocahontas, Illinois native couldn’t have been more gracious. Justin Moore was there too! We’re looking forward to his involvement at Jingle Fest! The party was at John Rich’s private establishment where all the big names in country music hang out. It was a unique experience.

We decided to roam downtown and what an experience! Rows and rows of bars/restaurants and every one of them had a live band playing and friendly patrons. I’ll just say that downtown St. Louis could take a few tips from Nashville. The energy was amazing, the bands (for the most part) were really good and the people friendly.
