Kenny Chesney is ready to return to touring and he is doing it with a vegeance. On Thursday, Chesney announced that he will co-headline nine stadium dates next year with the Zac Brown Band. Chesney had sold more than a million tickets a year for 8 consecutive years before he took a break in 2010. During his break though, he made two movies and completed his new album Hemingway’s Whiskey which was released in September. He has admitted to feeling the lure of the road while he was on break from touring, but he thinks the break from touring, along with the new music, will improve the show that his fans see next spring and summer. The stadium tour kicks off March 19, in Tampa, Florida, and runs through the summer. Chesney will announce more arena and amphitheater dates at a later date for what he says will be his biggest tour since 2006. Stay tuned to see if Kenny Chesney makes a stop in St. Louis. It has been two years since he has made a concert stop here.
