Smoking Ban on the Ballot Again?!?!? Butt....Butt!?!?!?

Here we go again. A Missouri congressman is introducing a ban on smoking in bars and restraunts statewide-AGAIN! Rep. Joe Fallert, a Ste. Genevieve Democrat, says he does'nt know if the bill will gain traction, but wants to put it before the voters. HELLO! JOE! A similar bill was introduced last year, and never even got a hearing. I have voted against similar bans locally twice and I think Missourians value their freedom of choice. People know what to expect when they go into bars and resturaunts, and many already have no-smoking sections. Illinois has such a ban, and many reports say bars and resturaunts have lost business due to the ban. We can all agree that smoking is a bad habit and should not be encouraged, but businesses should be allowed to decide for themselves whether to allow their patrons to smoke or not. So, say it ain't so Joe! From a Democrat no less! For shame.
