Adopt A Soldier

Welcome to Cornbread’s Adopt a Soldier. This grass-root effort was started by Cornbread right after the tragic September 11th events. His main goal is to honor active US Military personnel. Cornbread’s Adopt a Soldier connects supportive St. Louisans with deployed soldiers and offers a channel by which to communicate encouragement, support, and express gratitude to the brave men and women serving our country.

The success of this program relies strongly on you.
If you are submitting a soldier to be adopted, please be sure that the information YOU provide is completely accurate. If you aren’t sure of your soldier’s complete address, please research it further before submitting what could be incorrect information. The post office will reject packages with incomplete or wrong addresses. Also, please give other soldiers the chance to be adopted by only posting your soldier once.

Cornbread, Judi Diamond, staff and management of 923 WIL and Hubbard Radio cannot be held responsible for the contents of packages sent to persons on this list.

  1. Hey Cornbread! We have officially adopted our soldier Brian and sent him some wonderful goodies just in time for Thanksgiving. We love the opportunity to let our boys and girls know just how much we appreciate their service!

  2. When is the last date a package can be mailed to arrive before the holidays? Or, is it okay if our soldier receives their package after?

    • Hi Laura,
