Join Danny Montana 7pm-10pm on Wednesday night (3/20) for the taping of St. Louis Country at Wild Country and aired on KMOV Channel 4 on Saturday nights at 11pm. This week Danny will be accompanied by special guest, Dylan Scott!

With a family history deeply rooted in country music, Nashville is finding
that Dylan Scott communicates with a depth and wisdom beyond his years,
and his deep, soulful voice reaches audiences both young and old.
A 22-year old native of Bastrop, Louisiana, Dylan is signed to Sidewalk
Records. Currently in the studio working on his debut album with famed
producer Jim Ed Norman, Dylan’s first single is scheduled to be released to
radio in early 2013.
Being signed to Sidewalk Records is a dream come true for Dylan who
began honing his musical skills at an early age. He was two years old when
his father, a guitarist for country artists Freddy Fender and Freddy Hart,
realized young Dylan could sing on key. His aunt, who played with famed
gospel quartets The Blackwood Brothers and the Spear Family, taught him to
play piano when he could barely reach the piano keys. By the age of 12,
Dylan was playing acoustic guitar and, during his high school years, he
performed with a gospel trio for three years at fairs, festivals and churches
throughout the south.
Inspired by country legends such as Keith Whitley, George Strait and Alan
Jackson, Dylan decided early that performing country music was his life’s
calling. He played the prestigious Louisiana Hayride and won the local final for the Colgate Country Music Showdown. In 2009, Dylan won the Neal McCoy East Texas Angel Network Talent Contest.
Soon afterwards, Dylan came to the attention of Sidwalk Records
executives who signed him to a recording contract.
