So, who needs a bun?  Not when 2 original recipe chicken fillets can do the trick.   It's the new sandwich currently being tested by KFC called the Double Down.  Two chicken fillets sandwiching swiss and pepper jack cheese, bacon and the Colonel's special sauce.  Nutritional value for the sandwich has not been officially released, but some say it weighs in at 1,228 calories!  The suggested price?   $4.99 for the sandwich and $6.99 when combo-ed.  Hopefully it will test well in Omaha and Providence, R.I. so we can Double Down in St. Louis.
