Okay, so this past weekend I spent Saturday doing subdivision cleanup work, mowing my yard,  installing a new blower motor in my wife's Mini Van and changing out her burned out brake lights.  Then on Sunday it was church and a late afternoon lunch with relatives...so I had no time to visit the cool movie houses to see a cool movie.  Of course, the rest of America was able to squeeze in a showing or two and here are the big box office results for the week ending yesterday.

5-down from number 3 last week is G.I. Joe:
Rise of Cobra

4-Destiny 9...  number 2 last week.

3-Halloween II (2009)  This is Rod Zombie's second take on his vision of the Halloween movie series.  It debuted this weekend and looks like it's doing well.

2-Inglorious Basterds.  Your number 1 movie from last week drops one, but still takes in a nice chunk of change.

1-the new number one movie is The final Destination.   This film cost about 40 mil to make and in the first week at the box office, it took in 28,355,000 million!
