John Mabry called the Cornbread Show this morning to tell us about a great event coming up on SATURDAY OCTOBER 10 - SHOOT FOR THE TROOPS

The Joshua Chamberlain Society and Fisher House-St. Louis are working tirelessly to support our veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. We need your help to advance these two great causes. Please become a sponsor or put together a team and demonstrate your appreciation for all our military heroes do for us.

Where: Blackhawk Valley Hunting Club
1259 Brevator Rd.
Old Monroe, MO 63369

Cost: $100/shooter, $500/team - Team consists of 5 shooters.
First 20 teams to pay $500 entry fee are guaranteed participation in the event.

Event: 8:00am Registration/Continental breakfast
9-11:30am 56 Clay Target Sporting Clays Tournament
11:30-1:00pm Lunch and Awards Presentation
1:00p Silent Auction Closes
1:00-2:00pm Special Exhibit and Clay Target Shooting Demonstration

Flurry Side Game, Gun Raffles and several other unique features and exhibits will enhance the experience for participating shooters and sponsors. We are excited to have several former Cardinal and Blues players participating. Guest speakers during luncheon will represent our military veterans and the organizations that the event benefits. A special exhibit and shooting demonstration will highlight some of the shooting talent in the area.
