2009 CMA Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 43rd Annual CMA Awards were announced Wednesday morning on ABC-TV's Good Morning America and at CMT's Nashville studios in a special edition of CMT Insider. The winners will be announced during the CMA Awards telecast airing on ABC-TV Wednesday, Nov. 11 8-11pm ET.

Also, RCA/Nashville artist Chuck Wicks revealed the 2009 CMA Broadcast Personality and Radio Station of the Year finalists, and the Cornbread Show is a finalist for the first time in the Major Market Category!  Here are the 5 finalists:

  • The All New Dr. Don Morning Show with Doc, Grunwald, Rachael, and Jason, WYCD/Detroit.
  • Cliff and Company: Cliff, Morgan, Tanner, and Tori, KSON/San Diego.
  • The Cornbread Morning Show featuring Cornbread, Pat James, Producer Annie, Father Harry and Captain Mac, WIL/St. Louis.
  • The Laurie De Young Morning Show, WPOC/Baltimore.
  • Paul Schadt and Sarah in the Morning, WKKT/Charlotte.
