Allrighty,  here it is....9/09/09. Okay, it might not be as lucky as say 7/07/07, but the day does have it's "specialness". 

Today is the 252 day of the year...add 2 plus 5 plus 2 and you get?   9!

September and Wednesday both have 9 letters!

The game of baseball is loaded with 9's...9 players on the field, 90 feet between bases, 9 innings, and 9 outs per inning....now that's spooky.

Hotels love today too with  $99 rates and one hotel in Las Vegas, The Stratosphere, is trying to hook up (marry) 99 couples at 9:09pm for the low price of $99.09.  Any takers?

Another big event today for all music lovers is that the entire Beatles catalog is being re-released in remastered glory....Mono and Stereo versions...though the mono stuff is only available in a box set...and only in very limited quantities.  If that's not enough, Fab Four lovers also buy The Beatles Rock Band edition starting today..can you say number 9, number 9?

So, enjoy what's left of 9/09/09...after all, the next time a single digit date takes place is 1/1/2101.
