Scott Air Force Base would like for your to spend some time this weekend at their Airpower Over the Midwest Airshow this Saturday and Sunday. Gates are from 9AM-5PM both days and it's a great opportunity to visit a jewel in the Air Mobility Command crown.

This is a neat opportunity to get close and personal with aircraft of today and yesterday. Plus many of the pilots who fly these amazing planes will be on hand to give the kids autographs and pose with you for a photo.
A word of caution from a seasoned airshow veteran... Please remember this is a working airport and many of the sounds of high performance aircraft can be very loud and scary to young ears. Parents I recommend some ear plugs or some form of hearing protection. Also some sun protetcion is advisable as well.
