Remember when Carrie first appeared on American Idol she was a down home country girl.  Well, it looks like Carrie has changed her style from all-American tees and jeans to a polished look with dramatic dresses.  And now, looking at some pics from her upcoming Play On album, it looks like she is stepping into a new glam-rock style.  In the past, country-pop stars have changed their syle to match their star power.  For example, both Leann Rimes and Faith Hill changed from girl next door looks to more sexy, sultry looks as their audience began to become more than just the country audience.  Carrie has always had a rocker side to balance her wholesome side, but now she is showing that she can look the rocker part too.  Take a look at a couple of the pics and see what you think of Carrie's look.
