If you are like the millions of us who have purchased a computer during the past few years and in many cases, are stuck with Windows Vista operating system, there is a bright light at the end of the USB cable. Windows 7 is almost here!!! The savior for long suffering Windows Vista users will be available on October 22. Lift your hands to the sky and shout Hallelujah!
My son bought a new PC for his apartment a few weeks back and I told him he might have wanted to wait until the new Windows 7 Operating Systems hit the streets. Well, I stumbled across this today and wanted to share it with you. If you go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/buy/offers/upgrade-option.aspx you can find out if your new PC (that has VISTA) is eligible for a FREE upgrade to Windows 7.
In the case of my son's HP the eligibility dates are for PCs purchased between June 26, 2009 to January 31, 2010. Check this out. And then start counting down the days until we can think of Vista as just another Windows 2000.
