This is huge...so many people are Garth fans yet so many people have yet to see him...well now you can.  Of course you'll have to get to Vegas to do that.  More ironic is that almost nine years from the date he announced his retirement (Oct. 26, 2000), Garth Brooks revealed his return to the spotlight. First up, starting Dec. 11 he will begin a five-year one-man show at the Wynn Las Vegas, where he'll perform 15 weekends a year, one show a day both Fridays and Sundays, with two on Saturdays. All ticket prices will be fixed at $125, with the first five weekends going on sale Saturday, Oct. 24. Wife Trisha Yearwood is expected to perform at unspecified shows. Dates will be announced every quarter so Garth can be sure not to miss any family commitments. Asked how much he was paying Garth, Wynn quipped, "If I told you that, I'd lose my job with the stockholders." Wynn did admit that after he saw him play, he knew he had to figure a way to make it happen. "So I bought him a plane [a Challenger]." Garth noted, "I told him there wasn't enough money to make me come out of retirement. I was wrong."
