Tim McGraw received a big honor on Tuesday (October 20) at his album release party in Chicago. Governor Pat Quinn took the stage with McGraw and gave him more than just a pat on the back. Governor Quinn, who by the way is a very big country music fan, recognized McGraw for his outstanding support of our veterans, service members and their families, in a speech where he proclaimed October 20, Tim McGraw Day in Illinois. "Tim has a big heart and he takes care of his neighors and the men and women in uniform. Let's give him a hand. The citizens of Illinois take care of families, too, "he said as he handed a humbled McGraw the plaque that proclaimed the day.
