With November upon us, the days are quickly counting down to the holidays.  And as you know, nothing stinks more for a Soldier or Marine than to be away from your loved ones during the holidays.

The Cornbread Adopt a Soldier program is going into it's 8th holiday season, and it's always a huge success every year thanks to the generosity of our listeners.  There's no other program out there like it, and we feel it's successful because it's so simple!

Simply visit our list of soldiers here, select one that interests you, scroll down click on the "Adopt your soldier" button, and follow the instructions.  You will see a pop-up screen immediately with the address of your soldier and a paragraph written about them.  PRINT IT OUT and you're done!

From there, it's all up to you.  Mail them a letter, ship them a box full of goodies, make it personal, thoughtful...and remember...you can't send enough love!  They'll share it all!

This year, for the first time since it's invention, I have the opportunity to place some good friends of my own on our list.  You can look for my old buds Michael or Gary, but I encourage you to just find one who's short bio speaks to you and your family.  They all deserve our support now and always...

Thanks in advance from the Cornbread Show!

  • I really love this. I think this is such a great thing for us all to do to really brighten up someone's day who's deployed. Over there with other soliders, they're all missing their family and friends, a simple letter, card or box of goodies will make them feel better. Truly missed, loved and appreciated. I put my good friend Michael up here, I hope he gets adopted These soldiers deserve to be adopted by us.
