Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting Paying Tribute to Our American Heroes

Attend the 2009 Veterans Day Parade!

Please join Scouting in renewing the respect that our American Veterans deserve! New Horizons' Troop 310 is asking all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Brownies to come celebrate with them at the Saturday, November 7th, 2009 Veterans' Day Parade. Our goal is to add 10,000 Scouting families to honor our American Veterans!

The parade starts at 12:00 noon in Downtown St. Louis.

The parade route will be East bound Olive at 14th St.; South on 14th St. to Chestnut; East on Chestnut to Tucker(12th St.); South on Tucker to Market; West on Market to Union Station at 20th St.

The parade ends at 20th Street.

We have been invited by the parade organizers to march in this year's event. We will present a banner throughout the parade on behalf of "100 Years of Scouting Salutes Our American Veterans". We are asking for a Scout from every Troop and Pack in the St. Louis area to carry their Troop or Pack flag behind this banner and our Scouting/Military honor guard. If your Troop or Pack would like to be represented at the parade please contact Mike or Jean O'Neil at theoneils5@prodigy.net or call 636-256-3375 no later than Sunday, November 1st, 2009.

Thank you and hope to see you there!

Troop 310
