Wednesday morning, Cornbread will talk with a father of a little girl named Elena, who passed away at the age of 6 from brain cancer.  But in the short time from when she was diagnosed to when she left us, she did something so simple...but heartwarming.

She left dozens of love notes all over her family's home.  Hidden in drawers, in books, CD cases.  Don't miss this interview on Wednesday.  Especially if you have children.  So much can be learned from this little girl.

Meanwhile, check out the story and the book now on the NY Times Bestseller list.

  • I don't remember how I got connect to Elenas Journal website, but I read the whole blog. It touched my heart so much. I felt like I knew the whole family. I was so happy when Elena got to cross all her wishes off of her list. I want to go to Ohio to eat at Skyline Chili. Elena's Family is always in my Prayers. I can't wait to hear the interview. I can't wait to hear what antics little sister Gracie is up to now. This caring family made me laugh and they made me cry, but because of Elena I hug my kids tighter, tell them I love them more, and never sweat the small stuff. Every day I make sure I have fun with my family. Thank you, Keith, Brooke, Gracie, & Angel Elena
