Back in my college days at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL., my friends and I spent many a late-night closing up a Mexican Fast food joint on the main strip in town. I have many fond memories of the Super-Burrito at 1:00 in the morning! But after I left Macomb, I never saw the place again.
Then about a year ago, I stumbled on one in Peoria and got to share my love affair with their Potato Ole's with my wife an kids! (Behold their exquisite tastiness above!) They were floored just like me!
So a few months ago we decided to take a road trip to the closest Taco Johns near St. Louis in Carrolton, Illinois. It was about 35 miles for us, and...okay, so it was in a gas station...but the food was still great! But it was a LONG DRIVE!
What do we gotta do to get this awesome chain in the Lou? I know you'd love it!
I know Captain Mac is a fan. Come on Taco John fans, speak up! I know you're out there!
