Cubsuck

First off let me say that Cards fans need to get a life!!! Seems to me a Chicagoian living in St. Louis, trust me I didn't want to be here but I am, that Cards fans always need to start trouble. Im all about this great rivalry, its the greatest one in baseball but come on now its starting to get a little out of control. I was in Chicago this past weekend for the game and took my girlfriend and her friend Cards fans. I knew they would get a lot of attention, I know I do when Im at Busch for the game but you know what the most they got was a "hey you need to trade in that jersey" and a Cards suck here and there. The comments didnt go on and on like they do at Bush.That all but it seems that when Im at game Im getting cused at, disrespected in all ways and its uncalled for. I had an old lady walk up to me one night after a game and point in my face and tell me I suck and the Cubs suck and I should have my [Naughty language removed.] beat for twearing my jersey.So now its against the law to cheer on your team even if they arent the home team or is it just like that in St. Louis!! The StL talks about being a baseball town and that might be true and all but there is no SPORTSMANSHIP anywhere in this city. So what the Cubs havent won a Championship in over 100 yrs...the only people who dwell on it is Cards fans, why...maybe because they are all band wagon jumpers and cant come up with anything more original. The whole chanting 1908 everytime the Cubs come to town is lame!! Like a comedian has to come up with new material Cards fans should too!!! I truly believe that St. Louis people are in envy some way, some how of Chicago people. Everyweekend Im hearing people from here saying, 'lets go to Chicago for the weekend', or Chicago is a great place to hang out, shop do whatever, I mean come on now, how many people from Chicago are saying "hey lets go to St. Louis for the weekend"? NONE!! Why, because this town sucks and the only thing the StL has going for them is the Cards and you best believe when they start slipping St. Louis will turn on them just like they have the Rams and Blues. Dont forget the Cards havent always been that great either, they are just like the Cubs are part of the Comedy Central opps I mean just the Central Dsivision. The Cubs fans speak their minds when the team is losing all fans do but we still back them 110% no matter what... no matter if we're 10 games out of 1st place or 15 games ahead..doesnt matter. All Im saying St. Louis and Chicago, is lets keep the rivarly going but damn in a peaceful matter.

I have lived in StL for a long time. I grew up loving hockey. We were a house full of girls but dad watched hockey. I never got into baseball after watching a game that is full of action. I can barely sit through any baseball game because they are too slow. So yes I believe the way StL fans act is disrespectful as you described it but I have sat through many Blues games soaked in beer because of Chi town fans. You see what you see but I think we can all do a better job of respecting others at game time.
