No this isn't a Michael Jackson story, this is about a family in the UK that were forced to drop their baby 40 feet to a hopefully sure-handed cop on the ground below because of a fire in their building.From The Sun:
The tots frantic parents trapped at a third-floor window watched with their hearts in their mouths as the mite plummeted through plumes of smoke.
Amazingly the baby was CAUGHT by the hero officer although
last night it was unclear if the rest of the family survived the inferno
This wasn't in the article, but I hear the lady narrowly avoided a sack by the fire before breaking away and making a last ditch throw to the cop who ended up catching the baby with one hand and held it to his helmet to make the catch. ...or maybe that was something else. Either way, what a play!
