Drive for the Troops
Where: Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda Starts: November 21st @ 12:00 PM Ends: November 21st @ 2:00 PMJoin the 92.3 WIL street team on November 21st from Noon until 2pm at Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda.
Bring an item to support the USO of Missouri and the thousands of troops who will come through St. Louis over the holidays. Here is a list of the most requested/needed items for our troops:
- Bottled Water
- Individually packaged chips
- Individually packaged snack cakes
- Individually packaged Slim Jims/Beef Jerky
- Lip Balm
- Travel Size Sunscreen
- Travel Size Shaving Cream
- White Socks (Men's or Women's)
- AA or AAA Batteries
The street team will be handing out Cornbread Adopt A Soldier CD's to the first 50 people who donate at least $10 in needed items or cash towards our collection efforts. They will also be playing your favorite country hits and playing games for great WIL prizes!
The Dennis Jones Family Foundation Mobile USO will be on-site baking fresh cookies. There will also be FREE ice cream sampling, courtesy of Blue Sky Creamery for EVERYONE who comes out and shows their support with a donation!
