Extrovert or Introvert
I am a big social media person. I love Facebook, love to tweet and Instagram. And my latest obsession is with Pinterest.
So I found this article fascinating! It’s based on a new study that can tell whether or not you are an Extrovert or an Introvert depending on how you use Social Media!
From what I read, my social media personality tends toward the “Extrovert”! (No surprise! LOL!) Which one are you?
Here’s the link! http://mashable.com/2012/08/13/what-type-of-social-media-personality-are-you-infographic/
The Study predicts the psychological types most likely to participate on specific social networks. More extroverts reported using Facebook than introverts, for instance. And people with inclinations toward Feeling spend more time browsing and interacting with people on Facebook, rather than those who tend toward Thinking.
Blog This
Seems like there are blogs for everything. Which I happen to LOVE! It’s so interesting to me to find out about people and their lives all over the world in online journals. Think about it. Before the Internet, people had diaries. That were locked. Did you always wanna read YOUR sisters diary? I did!
So think of all these blogs, all over the internet, as diaries that you can read, without picking the lock! And these bloggers WANT you to read all about their lives. And there are some really great ones. I, personally, log all the mom blogs because I can relate, of course.
Here’s an interesting Blogger that is very cool. Check her out: http://stkappleto.blogspot.com/
Do you have a favorite blog? what is it?
If you could blog about anything, what would it be? Why aren’t you doing it?
What Would You BE….
If you weren’t doing what you do right now, what would you be? Or if you could all of a sudden make a career change, what would it be?
I would be an Archeologist. I LOVE what I do, and I wouldn’t want to trade it! BUT, I always thought it would be so awesome to dig in the dirt and look for Old Things! (Leo does it in our backyard, but that’s another story!)
My sister always wanted to be in the glamour and glitz of the beauty industry and she did just that in L.A. and loved it! She then changed her career to be in the Business world!
It’s never too late to change careers, and night school is really the best thing when you are working but still want to do something different with your life!
PAUL MITCHELL THE SCHOOL ST. LOUIS is having an OPEN HOUSE ON WEDNESDAY FROM 6P-8P! It’s an amazing, acredited school that my daughter Shira and I also had our hair done at a very reasonable cost by the almost graduating students! What a great diverse group of students! All ages, all ethnicities, male, female, you name it! And they all had that “too cool for school” vibe that all hairstylists seem to own! Here’s the information for the open house!

If you ever wanted to have a dream career in the beauty industry, what are you waiting for! To dig, like Leo?

MO Tax Free Weekend
If you need to buy your kid back to school supplies, this weekend would be the weekend to do it in Missouri because it is Tax Free Back to School Weekend! Here’s the information:
The state of Missouri is holding it’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday this weekend. The holiday starts this Friday and runs through Sunday August, 5th. According to Missouri department of revenue items like clothing, school supplies, computers, and other items are exempt from sales tax for this time period only.
The sales tax discount is available for all items under $100 in clothing, less than $50 in school supplies, $350 in software, less than $3,500 in computers and devices. You can purchase multiple items and still receive the tax discount. The discount applies to all items purchased that are under the price threshold. So, if you purchase 10 pairs of jeans that are $75 then the discount is available for all of the jeans purchased.
The individual item prices cannot be more than the minimum set by the state.

Do You Have The Fever?
I don’t know if it’s because this year the summer olympics 2012 is in my daddy’s Homeland, England. Or if it just seems like it’s been soooo long since the last olympic games, but I HAVE OLYMPIC FEVER AND I GOT IT BAD!
DO YOU?
I love Fencing, Swimming, Diving, Gymnastics, Track….all of it! Bring it on!
But, I find it sooo hard to find the sport I want to watch because there are so many going on at the same time and t.v. can only cover some of those sports!
But, if you’re like me, and want to get YOUR Olympics on, here is the site to get your t.v. schedule, and you can put in your area and service provider and it will get you your schedule! Here’s the link:

What Do You Crave
When I was pregnant with my daughter, Shira, I craved Arby’s Roast Beef Sandwiches. Did I mention I’m a vegetarian? When I was pregnant with my son, Leo I totally craved olives.
Did you have, or did your wife/girlfriend have any wierd cravings when pregnant?
this is interesting:
What do we crave?
Everyone’s different, of course, but according to a study from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the top contenders were sweets (like fruit, candy or chocolate) and dairy (like ice cream and milk). Lots of moms-to-be had an urge for fish, meat or poultry too. Check out a few of our faves from the message boards:
Rice with brown sugar, barbecue sauce, and butter. I thought it was soooo good and my husband looked at me like I was crazy. Now I would get sick if I ate that — gross! –ahartzle
Brownies with mustard or mac and cheese mixed with lo mein. –Scooter 359
McDonald’s sweet tea, garlic-stuffed olives, and salt — my husband walked in on me drinking the pickle juice straight from the jar. –t.bird
Jarred spaghetti sauce laced with about four tablespoons of sugar. I think it’s got something to do with the sugar cutting the acid in the tomatoes, but it’s been delectable to me on my pasta! –Flowr4246
Sometimes, I put pickles on Oreo cookies. You know those little round pickles for sandwiches? They’re the perfect size for an Oreo. –blissfully_caffeinated
I had a craving for chalky things like TUMS and chewable vitamins. –scubaspot
Onions and mustard. I don’t even like onions, but I would crave chopped onion drenched in mustard. –Morrison4319
I’ve been dipping cheese in ketchup! So gross but so good. –aerobaby
Salt! I have been eating it by the spoonful. I even went as far as having the hubby hide everything from garlic salt to table salt. –kasslynne
I have craved sour items throughout my pregnancy. For a few days, all I would eat was sour cream right out of the container. It was the only thing that appealed to me. –mbear511
Goldfish crackers dipped in strawberry ice cream. My husband had to hide the crackers because it was grossing him out! –Celtic Ember
Pickles in cream cheese wrapped with pepperoni. –katieriedel
“I haven’t craved anything weird. I’ve mostly allowed myself to indulge in things that I normally don’t allow myself to eat and write it off as a craving.” —browneyes_24b
“[I craved] Hardy’s Thickburgers and cheeseburgers in general. I think it was my body’s way of demanding that I feed it more iron. Oh yes, and any form of cake. I think that was my body’s way of telling me that cake is delicious.” —7miles
