We have another great opportunity to run together and raise money for cancer research! During all-star game weekend, there is a 5K run that will raise money for three cancer organizations including the great folks at Susan G. Komen! The run is Sunday morning, July 12th and starts at Busch Stadium, winds around downtown and ends up at America’s Center.
‘Father Harry’s Heroes’ is already set up and there are a handful of us already poised and ready to run! You get a bag of goodies from the all-star game and some kind of cool medal associated with the all-star game itself. So, you get a bunch of great stuff, you get to run and you get to help the Susan G. Komen people all over again!
I had to be out of town for the big run this past weekend, but I did get to ‘Eat out for the Cure’ on Thursday at Fortels, and now we can run together for the same cause! This will be my third run this summer! Donna and I ran for Thrive St. Louis and for SIDS in the past couple of weeks. We’re slow, but game and love raising money for great causes!
