Ted Williams Homeless Radio Star and Bachelor Brad Womack Meets the Girls he Rejected – The Toast

Another, week, another Toast. Let’s make fun of celebrities

Star Gazing

A homeless man has YouTube to thank for a second chance. Ted Williams is a former radio announcer who fell on hard times, but caught a break after a video featuring his golden pipes blew up online and a flood of job offers ensued.
Chris Brown is competing to create the lamest diss video of all time. Chris recently dropped a video in response to Ricky Romance’s (Yep, that’s his name.) amateurish smackdown of Mister Brown over a few taunting tweets. It gets no more gangsta.

Tube Talk

Brad Womack is back on The Bachelor. The man made notorious after rejecting both season eleven Bachelor finalists has returned for season 15. This week’s premiere features Brad’s reunion with the ladies he infamously sent home four years ago.
Religious crooner Josh Groban has hopped aboard the ‘Kanye West Sucks’ bandwagon. The singer dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to put Kanye West’s most outrageous tweets to music, and hilarity ensued.

Reel World

Season of the Witch has hit theaters. Nicolas Cage stars as a man assigned to haul a witch off for disposal, but along the way Nic discovers the young lady may not be so intolerable.

That, and plenty more awaits. Share the link when you’re finished!

We’re Back!

Over the past several weeks you may have noticed the WIL radio signal was hard to pick up at some locations. WIL broadcasted from our back-up tower location at reduced power for the installation of a new delivery system. Well, the work is complete and WIL is now at FULL POWER and better than before with a new state of the art antenna. So turn it up and enjoy the country on 92.3 Today’s WIL!

The snow is here are you ready? Not everyone has a 4×4!

You always hear…stock up on food and make sure you have a battery operated radio…with FRESH BATTERIES!

So many people have bad storm amnesia and think…I just need to get home. Well once you get home imagine the power going out and tons of snow comes, you can’t get out for work or for provisions. Just like a boyscout be prepared.

When the power goes out the first thing I notice is the silence, WIL will be on the air…so for weather updates and of course entertainment make sure you have those radios. Better yet a few years ago I picked up a generator for the family and although it has been used very little it has come in handy during nasty storms…I suggest for lets say…Valentines Day get one! Now you might get in the doghouse at the moment…but wait till that first power outage…you’ll be regarded as a hero!

And for those of you with 4 wheel drive…let’s be respectful of those without!

Happy Storming!
